The cycle of unconditional giving

Giving and receiving can present us with problems when they are not unconditional. When there are expectations attached, guilt or fear, giving or receiving can have a certain heaviness, an oppressiveness attached.

When we give unconditionally, free from expectation or want, we enter the flow of joy and generosity and the giving becomes receiving in a cycle that benefits both.
When we receive unconditionally, free from guilt, we enter the same cycle and step into the flow of giving trust, appreciation and reverence.
When we either give or receive this way, it is a perfect exchange, like a lemniscate, the symbol of infinity in which nothing is lost and everything is gained.
