Conversation with a five-year old

So I’m on my way to Pete’s, the local post office to pick up a parcel when a little blond girl of about five years old addresses me at the door, pigtails, pink clothes, pink bicycle:
”Flerpl.”
I lower my sunglasses and gaze at her: ”Eh, what?”
”Fleppl.”
”Eh? What is that?”
Little girl: ”That’s a word.”
Me, still none the wiser: ”And what does it mean?”
Little girl: ”Flerbl is a word.”
Me, still doing my best to comprehend the mysterious language of five year olds: ”But what does it mean?”
Little girl: ”That you’re sweet.”
Me: ”Oh! Eh, thank you very much. Flerpl to you too!”
